Our newest year-round vacation rental is a large chalet-style home with three levels, a loft and two decks with spectacular 180 views. Reservations
Advance Deposit and Balance Due - Reservations must be made through the Reservations Office at Appalachian Ski Mtn. An advance rent deposit of 50% of the total rent is due within 2 weeks of booking to hold your dates. The balance, cleaning fee and damage deposit are due at our office no later than 2 weeks prior to check-in.
Other Fees and Deposits - All reservations require a $65 cleaning fee and a $200 damage deposit held by a credit card. The cleaning fee covers maid service after check-out. The damage deposit will be returned two weeks after check-out providing that there is no damage.
Cancellation - The advance rent deposit is non-refundable. The balance will be refunded minus 10% of the total rent only if the house is re-rented for those dates. Damage deposits and cleaning fees are fully refundable if the unit is not used. No refunds are given in the event of an early departure.
Check in & out - You may pick up your key at the Appalachian Ski Mtn. Reservation Office (lower level of the Lodge) between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm unless other arrangements have been made. You must bring the key back to the same office by 11:00 am on your final day to check out.
General - No smoking is allowed inside the houses. Pets are not allowed on the properties. The phones are blocked for direct-dial long distance usage, but credit card, third-party and collect calls may be made. There are two smoke detectors in each house. It is the responsibility of the renters to check them and notify the office if they are not working. These homes are for family use only - no house parties. They will be rented only to families, married couples and groups of mature, responsible adults over the age of 25. The person whose name is on the rental contract is responsible for the entire party complying with these policies and will be responsible to pay for any damage to the property. |
