Although Frostbite is a reality of winter, you have the power to prevent it! On days where frostbite is a possibility, make sure to be appropriately dressed. Signs of frostbite include stinging sensations on exposed skin, and grey or discolored skin patches. If you notice any of these signs, seek ski patrol assistance immediately! Use common sense. Respect your fellow winter enthusiast, don’t ski or snowboard where you feel uncomfortable, be patient around others as they may just be learning.
