Appalachian Ski Mtn. is a fun place to work as well as ski. Our guests come here to spend quality time with the people they love. More than anything else, our atmosphere is like a winter Disneyland. We want fun, energetic people who will enjoy being a part of our resort family. Sixty percent or more of our staff return each ski season. 

First and foremost, Appalachian Ski Mtn. looks for employees who have a positive, outgoing personality. Appalachian requires that all employees have a conservative, clean cut appearance (no facial hair or non-traditional piercings), and speak fluent English. All staff members must be available to work during the Christmas Holiday period (no skiing on Christmas Day). 

Employee benefits include complimentary skiing and instruction, and discounts in our Alpine Ski Shop, Gift Shop, Restaurant, Ice Arena and Equipment Rental department.

We offer full and part time seasonal positions with flexible scheduling for college students and second job holders.   

Areas of employment include:

• Off season application hours: Mon. through Fri. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Ski season application hours: Seven days a week 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• All applicants must apply in person at the Appalachian Ski Mtn. Main Office in the lower lever of the lodge.
