Saturday, March 19

11am – Impossible Rail Session – Can you make it to the end of our park crew’s latest rail configuration?? Usually close to or over 100 feet, this event is always fun to watch
12:30pm – Cardboard Box Derby – Make a vessel using only cardboard & duct tape and see how it performs sledding down Appal!
2pm – Ski & Snowboard Rail Jam – Test your rail skills in this fun for all abilities Rail Jam with prizes for standouts
4pm – Trash Bag Downhill – Wear a trashbag, go to the top of Big Appal, see who can slide to the bottom first!

Sunday, March 20

11am – High Ollie Contest – The opposite of limbo, try to jump or β€œollie” over a bamboo stick that continues to be lifted until no one can clear the height.
1pm – Pond Skim & Costume Contest – Always the crowd favorite, see if you can make it across our 80+ foot pond filled with ice cold lake water
4pm – Chinese Downhill – All out every man for himself race down Big Appal

Registration for all Meltdown Games events is FREE with purchase of a valid slope ticket. Participants can sign up in the Alpine Ski Shop the day of the event.
